Rising Toward the Heavens
                                                                    
I enjoy the simplicity of this piece.  That
of taking geometric design which brings
about a feeling of rhythm.  I am inspired
by the rising affect as though this
recognizes "God" and is reaching toward
the heavens!  I believe there is beauty in
simplicity because of its honesty and
candor.  My creations often bring about
by a line upon line process which is how
I view life "line upon line".  Each day
striving to
become more in tune to the request of
our Father in Heaven.   In this creation I
view an example of the beauty realized
when we as children of God
(collectively) embrace the teachings and
example of his Son and our Savior Jesus
Christ!

The Spires are created
from New York Blue Stone.  The base is
black Virginia slate flag stone.
